AWARDS TO HARMONY AND INNOVATION
BELGRADE INTERNATIONAL FURNITURE FAIR / 12-18th November 2009

On the way to promoting sustainable creativity, moving boundaries of knowledge, design and materialization, University of Belgrade's Wood Processing & Furniture Design division and students participated at 47th Belgrade International Furniture Fair with new multi-functional prototypes, flexible ergonomic features and other innovative details created under supervision of their mentor doc Jelena Matić, involving solid wood offcuts and plywood parts. The exhibited work got awarded in two selections, once by ULUPUDS (Association of Artists of Applied Art and Designers of Serbia) which granted ULUPUDS DIPLOMA FOR SINGLE PRODUCT DESIGN  for PISA TOWER table & shelf by Milica Nešovanović,  and in second selection,  the Belgrade International Furniture Fair granted THE GROUP AWARD FOR INNOVATION IN DEVELOPMENT OF PRODUCTS to all the work presented (Awarded authors: Aleksandar Blagojević for chairs HE/SHE; Dragan Krivokapić for table/chair GRID;  Emir Beciragić, Marija Bjelaković and Milica Jović for sunbed ARC;  Marija Prelević and Ana Stanković for table ZIP; Marko Obradović for chair/billboard CUADRO CHAIR ; Miljana Nikolić for chair PLAY ME; Milica Nešovanović for table/shelf PISA TOWER; Željko Mirić for bench PLAY WITH PLY; Željko Pantić for table/armchair CUBE)
